The workshop, to be held at Airdance's new studio at 17 Jose Abad Santos St., Heroes Hill, Quezon City, will have Beginners' and Advanced levels for the different genres of dance and will be conducted by Airdance's professional dance teachers and choreographers. Emphasizing proper dance techniques while gearing for the recital, the workshop promises to be a fun, learning experience.
The Grand Recital Concert offers the unique oportunity for the workshop student to perform onstage in front of a live audience. In preparation for this, the dance workshop prepares the student not just physically, but also aims to instill proper discipline, good working habits, respect for their fellow students, poise and stage presence. Airdance invites you to join its 10th Summer Dance Workshop, entitled "West Ave. Story", a 6-week intensive dance training program that culminates in a thematic Recital done to the music of beloved musicals. Now on its 10th year, Airdance's Summer Dance Workshops has always proven to be a fun, enjoyable and learning experience for its students. Not only do they get the physical benefits of dance training - grace, flexibility, coordination, strength, cardio-vascular endurance - but they also develop poise and stage presence. Preparing and performing for a live audience requires that the student develop self-discipline and respect for his/her fellow students. Airdance firmly believes that these are habits that they will carry on to their personal, academic and professional lives.
There are limited slots per class so enroll early. Enrollment starts March 16, 2010. Come and join us this summer for a fun-, dance-, and music-filled experience.

Airdance celebrates the summer days with its 9th Summer Dance Workshop entitled "MGA ARAW NG SAYAW". Starting on April 12 and over the course of 6-weeks, students can take dance classes in Jazz (Beginners and Advanced), Streetdance (Beginners and Advanced), Contemporary, Breakdance and Ballroom. Classes are for 10-years old and up. The workshop will be conducted by the Airdance faculty and company members, all professional and seasoned dance teachers and choreographers.
The workshop will culminate in a Filipino-themed Recital Concert on May 23 wherein the students will perform and showcase their newfound and/or improved dancing talents alongside the Company members of Airdance. This show will feature the students in dance numbers choreographed to the diverse range of Filipino music.
Airdance believes that dance training develops both the body and mind. It improves strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination. Dancing develops focus and memory-retention. During the course of the workshop, the student will be learning to work individually and in a group. And, in the unique experience of performing before a live audience, the student develops confidence and stage presence. Airdance believes and hopes that the student will carry on what they will learn in our workshop to their personal, academic and professional lives.
