Anjz BaccayIn the summer of 2007 & 2008, Angelique or "Anjz" started classical ballet as a hobby at Pink Toes Fairview. She continued her ballet training at the Halili Cruz School of Ballet in 2008 until 2014 under the tutelage of Anna Tuazon-Balmadrid. There, she was exposed to yearly recitals, international competitions, and summer workshops where dance educators from different countries come in. She passed two international dance exams conducted by Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) having grades of Honours Plus. This exam serves as a prerequisite to join the annual Asia Pacific Dance Competition where Anjz was able to participate and win with the school in Hongkong (2012) and in Manila (2013).

After more than a year of hiatus from dance, her love for the craft motivated her to join the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe in 2015 where Robert Stephen Biadoma teaches Folk Dance and Contemporary. During her three years with the group, she was able to participate in artistic shows outside the university such as Pasinaya (2017 & 2018), International Dance Day (2016), and Indak Pilipinas (2017). Anjz was also among the selected members to compete at the NCCA Sayaw Pinoy National Dance Competition where they placed first in Contemporary last 2015, first in Folk Dance in 2016, and finished fourth in Contemporary, also in 2016. In addition to that, she was among the Filipino delegates who represented the country, together with her group in the IYF World Cultural Festival in South Korea where they bagged the Bronze Price last 2017.

Aside from dancing, she was also given the opportunity to help in organizing Salinggawi's Annual Dance Concerts. She was a member of the Secretariat Committee in Sibol (2016), head of the same committee in Bakunawa (2017) at the same time was the Secretary of the troupe, and overall head of Sarimanok (2018) while being the President of the group. Despite graduating from a BSBA program in 2018, her passion for the arts led her to pursue a career in dancing. At present, she is a member of Airdance, a contemporary dance company in Quezon City, where she trains to hone her skills further, gain more experience, and explore her versatility as an artist.
