“Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.” - Rumi

The definition of a woman is changing. At a time when the voices of women in the country are silenced, the annual NeoFilipino dance series provides a platform that sheds light on different issues affecting their lives. #TheNewFilipinaMovement

Sometimes, women get criticized even just for breathing. But how much longer should they hold their breath? Inspired by the right to freedom of expression, Airdance, along with company alumnae Julie Alagde and Marielle Baylocon, perform Mia Cabalfin's "Singap", a piece that likens freedom to breathing. It combines the use of movement in every breath and non-verbal sounds without any musical accompaniment.
