CONGRATULATIONS to Airdance Company Member Kristel De Catalina for winning 1st runner-up in the Professional Division at the recent Vie and Vault 2.0 International Pole Dance Competition held last Novermber 15, 2013, at the Teatrino, Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan.

Airdance warmly welcomes Filipino-American dancer Nicole Curry of Arizona, USA. Nicole studied BS Dance from the Minnesota State University, Mankato, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was a member of the Ambiance Dance Theater and Harmonic Laboratory.

She'll be in the country until June 2013 as Airdance's guest company member as she learns and contributes to dance in the Philippines, as well as to learn more of her Filipino heritage.

Airdance congratulates Kristel de Catalina for winning the Airdance Idol 2012 competition with here piece entitled "Amidst Boundaries ". Combining Contemporary Dance and Pole Art, Kristel's performance and choreography was judged the best in a very tight competition by an esteemed panel of judges composed of Paul Morales (Artistic Director, Ballet Philippines), Steve Villaruz (Artistic Director, UP Dance Company and Professor Emeritus, UP College of Music), and Jay Cruz (Artistic Director, Dancing Wounded Dance Commune)

In support of Haribon Foundation's environmental awareness and conservation programs, Airdance will be performing at Haribon Foundation's Million Hectare Challenge Fun Run on November 25, 2012, 6:00am at the CCP complex.


The Million Hectare Challenge 2012 (MHC2012) aims to raise awareness and funds for the Rainforestation Organizations and Advocates to 2020 (ROAD to 2020), an environmental conservation movement to restore one million hectares of our rainforests using native tree species by year 2020.
