Brian MorenoBrian Moreno has been dancing and performing for ten years, starting back in college when he was part of the DLSU Animo Squad, a cheerdance/cheerleading organization in his college where he competed in national and intercollegiate cheer competitions for two years. Afterwards, he joined La Salle Dance Company - Contemporary, where he practiced Jazz-Contemporary dance and then he worked as a fitness instructor and soon after pioneered as a member of Daloy Dance Company. During this time, he had also explored choreography with his works - Bathala Na and UrbanLandscapes. He also participated in Dance Exchanges and Festivals - Brunei, Darussalam (2011) Observasian (Singapore, 2012), Tari ‘14 - Building Bridges (Malaysia, 2014), and Asia Dance Project (South Korea, 2015). Brian has also performed as part of a dance ensemble in ‘Macho Dancer: A Musical’ staged in Virgin Labfest year 2015 and as an in-house performer in Ibiza BGC (2017).

 

Brian is a Pilates instructor trained under the Pilates Academy International (PAI) program. Aside from dance, he also practices other disciplines of movement such as Yoga and Pilates, and has also experience in Pole Dance and Aerial Silk.

 

 Justin Diolazo

 

Justin is dancer, choreographer and a teacher. He started dancing when he was 11 at the Agoo School of Ballet, he graduated from the Philippine High School for the Arts and was a scholar of the CCP Dance School from years 2010-2015.  He’s been part of various productions under the school and the company such as Starzan Gubatman, A Forest Tale, A Christmas Carol, Cinderella, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty and more.

 

He is a former member of the Saint Benilde Romancon Dance Company and has done productions like Synced, Swanlake by the Lakeside and more.  Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts in Dance at the De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde.

 

He is the director and choreographer of MULAT: Ang Hindi Sinukuan sa Arayat, a dance theater production that tackles the country’s constant battle against irresponsible mining and its harmful effects to human and nature.

 

Justin joined Airdance as a scholar during their Summer Dance Workshop in 2018 and was  promoted as company artist in the same year.  

 

Anjz BaccayIn the summer of 2007 & 2008, Angelique or "Anjz" started classical ballet as a hobby at Pink Toes Fairview. She continued her ballet training at the Halili Cruz School of Ballet in 2008 until 2014 under the tutelage of Anna Tuazon-Balmadrid. There, she was exposed to yearly recitals, international competitions, and summer workshops where dance educators from different countries come in. She passed two international dance exams conducted by Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) having grades of Honours Plus. This exam serves as a prerequisite to join the annual Asia Pacific Dance Competition where Anjz was able to participate and win with the school in Hongkong (2012) and in Manila (2013).

 

After more than a year of hiatus from dance, her love for the craft motivated her to join the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe in 2015 where Robert Stephen Biadoma teaches Folk Dance and Contemporary. During her three years with the group, she was able to participate in artistic shows outside the university such as Pasinaya (2017 & 2018), International Dance Day (2016), and Indak Pilipinas (2017). Anjz was also among the selected members to compete at the NCCA Sayaw Pinoy National Dance Competition where they placed first in Contemporary last 2015, first in Folk Dance in 2016, and finished fourth in Contemporary, also in 2016. In addition to that, she was among the Filipino delegates who represented the country, together with her group in the IYF World Cultural Festival in South Korea where they bagged the Bronze Price last 2017.

 

Aside from dancing, she was also given the opportunity to help in organizing Salinggawi's Annual Dance Concerts. She was a member of the Secretariat Committee in Sibol (2016), head of the same committee in Bakunawa (2017) at the same time was the Secretary of the troupe, and overall head of Sarimanok (2018) while being the President of the group. Despite graduating from a BSBA program in 2018, her passion for the arts led her to pursue a career in dancing. At present, she is a member of Airdance, a contemporary dance company in Quezon City, where she trains to hone her skills further, gain more experience, and explore her versatility as an artist.

 

Rhojani NasiadRhojani Joy R. Nasiad or 'Rho' finished Bachelor of Science in Travel Management and graduated as Cum Laude at the University of Santo Tomas in 2018. As a senior, she was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) of UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe (SDT), the official dance company of UST. She was elected treasurer of SDT in SY 2016-2017 and vice president in SY 2017-2018.

In high school, she trained as a member of St. Scholastica's Academy Marikina (SSAM) Dance Club under Mrs. Ingrid Delfino. In college, she was a varsity scholar of UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe under head coach, Mr. Ramon Pagaduan IV in 2014 and artistic director, Mr. Robert Stephen R. Biadoma from 2015-2018. She was a member of the SDT cheer team that won 2nd runner-up in the National Cheerleading Competition Season 10 in the all-girls category. She was also an integral part of the SDT dance team that won first place for consecutive years in the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Sayaw Pinoy. In 2015 the winning piece for Contemporary category was 'Batang Magsasaka' choreographed by Robert Stephen R. Biadoma. In 2016, SDT topped the Folk Dance category dancing Jota Quirino in 2016.
She likewise joined the SDT dance team that bagged the bronze medal in the 2017 International Youth Fellowship (IYF) World Cultural Dance Festival in Jeonju, South Korea.

In 2018, Rhojani Nasiad and Alvin John Vito created their contemporary piece titled 'In Time' which premiered during the the Pasinaya Open House Festival at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). After graduation, Rho pursued the dance career and entered as a company member of Airdance, the renowned dance company for contemporary dance and aerial arts in the Philippines.
