





All over the world, International Dance Day is celebrated on every April 29. As part of the Contemporary Dance Map festival, Airdance will re-stage its show IN|STALL|MENT on Sunday, April 29, 2013, at 7:00pm at the 3rd floor of Frisco Place, 158 Roosevelt Ave. cor. Del Monte Ave., Quezon City.
The show will be held in different spaces and venues on the 3rd floor of the building and will feature new and experimental dance pieces by Airdance's choreographers Ava Maureen Villanueva-Ong, Rhosam Prudenciado Jr., Jed Amihan, Mia Cabalfin, and Alfred Mercado as well as works by guest choreographers Michael Lopez from Hong Kong and Nicole Curry from the USA. The performances are explorations of space, movement, concepts and multimedia - challenging the preconceived notions of dance's format, venue and themes.

The Contemporary Dance Map festival is an initiative of the Contemporary Dance Network Manila. The festival will culminate on International Dance Day on April 29, 7:00pm with a Gala performance by the networks' member companies at the UP College of Music Annex Garden.

This summer, Airdance takes you Around the World for its 12th Summer Dance Workshop. Starting on April 8, 2013, Airdance's 12th Summer Dance Workshop is an intensive 6-week dance workshop in Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Ballet to be held at Airdance's new studio. The workshop will culminate in a grand, thematic recital on Sunday, May 19, 2013, with the workshop students performing stylized dances of different countries and cultures.
Airdance is located at Unit 303 Frisco Place, 158 Roosevelt Ave. cor. Del Monte Ave., San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City, The spacious and air-conditioned studio has a linoleum-covered sprung wooden flooring, high-ceiling, mirrors, dressing rooms and CRs for both male & female students.

Airdance once again performs during the Pasinaya 2013, the Cultural Center of the Philippines' Open House Festival, on February 3, 2013, 12:20pm at the Bulwagang Francisca Reyes Aquino (Rehearsal Hall). The company will be performing Fredrick Fernandez's "Job Unfair" as well a new collaborative piece.

The PASINAYA CCP OPEN HOUSE FESTIVAL is the largest multi-arts festival in the country with more than 300 shows to choose from in music, theater, dance, visual arts, film, and literature. 3000 artists participate and more than 50,000 viewers are expected to attend.
